Our customers see live in care as a popular alternative to care homes. Customers tell us that given a choice they would always prefer the surroundings and security of their own home over having to leave their home and memories to the uncertainty of a care home.

What is Live in Care?

You the customer directs us on how you want your care and support delivered. The Carer Companion lives with you for an agreed period of time. 


They will provide the service agreed in unique plan of care which is designed to meet your individual needs in the comfort of your own home. Live in care is a more economical option compared then Residential Care.

A live-in carer will move in to your property and is on hand 24 hours a day to meet all  of you individual needs. The Care Companions help with personal care, medication, household tasks and complex care.

Care Companions are not able to assist with tasks that a medical profession would complete such as administering injections or changing dressings on open wounds.  DIY tasks cannot be completed by a live in care companion.

Yes, the Care Companion will need their own room with a single bed and wardrobe or chest of drawers for their clothes and a closable door for privacy.

Your gender choice of care companion will be your choice. All our care companions will take into consideration your privacy and dignity when delivering any aspect of personal care for you.

All live in Care Companions  are entitled to 14 hours of breaks over the course of a working week, this can be divided in a way that suits you best. Commonly it is split into two hours daily, or a few afternoons a week.
