Home Help services make daily life easier, so your loved one can stay independent and happy in the home they love.

At Redleif, we offer a Home Help service designed to support customers with day-to-day tasks and activities. Not all care needs are complex — sometimes, a little extra help around the home or a friendly face to share a coffee with can make all the difference to someone’s wellbeing.

All our wonderful helpers are DBS checked, fully insured, reference-checked, and receive comprehensive training. We focus on providing continuity of care, so you’ll see the same friendly helper on each visit, allowing you to build a trusted and comfortable relationship over time.

Our Services

Our appointments are completely flexible — they can be as little or as often as you need. Whether it’s a one-off helping hand, regular weekly visits, or daily support, we’ll work around your schedule to provide the right level of assistance. Our goal is to make life easier, while giving you and your loved ones peace of mind.

Light Housework and Laundry

It is important to keep on top of things at home. Our helpers can assist with vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting, changing bedding, tidying away, washing the laundry and ironing it for you too. We use the cleaning and washing products you keep at home and prefer to use.

Shopping and running errands

At Redleif Homehelp we can get your shopping for you or take you to buy your weekly shop. Any errands that need running? We can pick up your prescription, collect your medication or post and collect parcels and letters.

Pet Care and Dog Walking

Our pets are part of the family. We can ensure your pet is looked after at home if you’re not feeling up to it or recovering from an operation or injury. From taking the dog for a walk, to looking after the little pets, feel assured they matter to us too.

Meal Preparation

When you’re not feeling quite yourself, tired or poorly, cooking can seem like a huge task. From making a sandwich to preparing a light nutritious snack our helpers are on hand to make sure you get something to eat.

Attending Medical Appointments

Our Helpers can attend medical appointments with you for however long the appointment takes. We can drive you there and stay with you for support and then bring you home.

Companionship and Trips Out

Sometimes it’s just nice to sit down and have a chat over a cup of tea, get out of the house and attend social events or pop to the shops to have a look around. Our helpers provide their own transport to take you anywhere you would like to go.

Technology and Administration Support

Todays technology can seem very daunting and be very hard to get to grips with. So from troubleshooting with laptops, tablets and smartphones to tutorials on how to work them. Our helpers are also able to assist with sending and writing e- mails, making appointments, making phone calls on your behalf and any paperwork that needs sorting out. All our helpers are DBS and reference checked and can be trusted.

Home Support on Return from Hospital

Coming home from hospital after a long or short stay can be overwhelming. Redleif can provide support with that. We can get things comfortable for you upon return. We can go shopping for you, make sure the house has been cleaned and the bedding has been changed. And once your home, keep up with visits ensuring you are supported until you feel more independent.
