Bringing Our Community Together This Winter

At Redleif Care Essex, we believe no one should feel alone—especially during the colder months. That’s why this winter, we’re standing against loneliness by creating opportunities for our local over-65 community to come together, connect, and share good company.

We’re excited to announce a series of upcoming community events, designed to spark conversation, laughter, and new friendships.

Our Warm Cups – Tea & Cake Natter events will take place on 18th October and 15th November 2025 at Redleif Care Essex, 381 Southchurch Road, Southend-on-Sea, from 11am to 1pm.

There’s nothing quite like a warm cup of tea, a slice of cake, and a good chat to lift the spirits. These gatherings are the perfect chance to take a break, meet new people, and enjoy some light-hearted conversation in a relaxed, friendly space.

We’re also hosting a very special Community Christmas Lunch on 21st December 2025 at 1pm at St Augustine’s Church, Thorpe Bay, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 3JQ. Christmas is a time for joy, togetherness, and celebration—but sadly, it can also be a time when loneliness feels hardest.

To make sure nobody spends Christmas alone, we’re bringing people together for a festive meal filled with good food, laughter, and warm company. Tickets are just £6 per seat, with all proceeds going directly towards making the day special for everyone. This is a not-for-profit event, and spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Our mission is simple: to ensure no one in our community spends Christmas alone. Whether you join us for a cup of tea in October, a slice of cake in November, or a festive meal in December, you’ll be welcomed with open arms.

To book your place, call or message 07827 041266, email enquiries@redleifcare.co.uk or visit www.redleifcare-essex.co.uk. We’d love to see you there—because together, we can make this winter a season of warmth, connection, and community.
